Back to III.1: Sydenham’s Chorossword

Act III, Scene 1

Sydenham’s Chorossword

Solution: ST JOHN'S WORT

Solves: 30 Guesses: 99

The trick with this cross-shaped crossword is that all ST bigrams only occupy one cell each!

Crossword

If we shade the ST cells that are inside the red rectangles, they are positioned in a manner highly suggestive of a Braille code! Using these ST bigrams as Braille dots (?STigmata lol), they spell WORD WORT OF JOHN, or ST JOHN'S WORT.
